A quirky strange yet wonderful little film - even without the references to other films (Death in Venice being an obvious one, but also a slew of westerns) it's great in its own right, full of black (not bleak) Irish humour and wit. I really don't understand the reviews from the Libre Belgique etc unless they completely missed the point. Only one tiny complaint - you mightn't think that Bruges is in Flanders if you only saw this film! See it. Then die. But not in Bruges...!
